“(I am) attending WNCC and have been since August (07) an it’s neat. I just learned that I made PHI THETA KAPPA Society for Jr. colleges! It’s an honor society for good grades and I am really proud. John-Henry is doing really great too and a point away from making it also. You need a 3.50 to get in, so I’m really happy. I love school and I love how I’ve re-learned how to learn in school. It’s really exciting.” Rachael came to me in 2005 at the age of 15; her younger brother, John-Henry came to me in 2001 at the age of 9.
Camille came to me this summer to work on comprehension, vocabulary and math. Her goals were modest, “I want to get better at everything!” Congratulations on a successful Program Camille.
Meet Mark and his wonderful family who came all the way from Alaska to participate in the Davis Program. Mark’s main goals were to do better in reading and math and for learning to be fun. It was great working with you Mark.
“Shelby has shown a lot of progress in school this year and her handwriting is still much nicer. I hate to admit it but we have not made it through all of the words yet and continue to sporadically make our way through. “We are home, Sydney went to school today and had a good day. Her and her father went and bought lots of clay, and some cool tools for her, and we have a spot at home for all of these new fun activities. Yesterday she mastered a trigger word ("an"). Today we did the reading starting with spell read, and then sweep-sweep-spell; we are so excited with her tools and she herself has seen a big improvement. She continues to know the spelling words that she did (during the program). We see the light at the end of the tunnel and boy is that a good feeling, I so want to thank you for these past five days.... Sydney loves you and we are greatful that you were able to offer this program to her and being the best person to connect with Sydney was all we as parents could want for our child.” Charrie
Jacob’s progress since you worked with him in March. (We are) very excited...Jacob is doing very well! Spelling has come up, up, up...The reading and spelling techniques have worked very well...I feel his self confidence has grown dramatically! Coordination has picked up a great deal. Son, Forrest completed the correction program in January 2004 at the age of 9; and in January of 2006 Forrest completed the math mastery program at the age of 11.
