The Program:
As a Davis Dyslexia Correction® Facilitator, I teach the individual how to orient themselves at will so they can perceive and process information accurately, and therefore, resolve the triggers that create the symptoms of dyslexia. Once the individual recognize their mental talents they develop a renewed sense of self esteem and confidence.
The Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program is a developmental program that utilizes creativity and accomplishes mastery. It is a week long, one-on-one, personalized counseling program. For more information on Davis Dyslexia Association International® and related links, visit www.dyslexia.com.
Support Training:
Support training is an integral part of the Davis Program. In the case of a minor, support training begins Friday afternoon. The intent is to highlight successes, prevent regression, and encourage continuation of Davis Symbol Mastery® with the trigger words. Those encouraged to attend the Friday session include parents, caregivers, tutors and/or any person who will play an active role in the client's support system.
Reviews:
Reviews are part of the Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program. Three (3), free reviews, are included with the program. A review consists of a 2-4 hour appointment subsequent to the completion of a program and is provided as needed.
The purpose of this meeting is to review and re-enforce skills learned during the initial program and to deal with the reports of stalled progress, which do not easily resolve though correspondence. Telephone and email support are unlimited.
